Raising Awareness to Fight Breast Cancer

Honoring and Supporting the Breast Cancer Community

Every October, we come together for Breast Cancer Awareness Month—a time to honor those affected by breast cancer, promote education, and remind ourselves that knowledge and action can save lives. This effort relies on all of us, and you play a vital role. With one in eight women in the U.S. diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime, raising awareness is crucial in combating this disease.

Understanding the Numbers

In 2025, it's estimated that 316,950 women and 2,800 men in the U.S. will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer, alongside approximately 59,080 new cases of non-invasive breast cancer. These figures highlight the importance of awareness and education.

Early Detection Saves Lives

The good news is that early detection can significantly impact treatment success. Approximately 66% of cases are diagnosed at a localized stage where treatment is most effective, and the five-year survival rate soars to 99%. This month acts as a profound reminder to prioritize your health and schedule routine screenings for yourself and encourage your friends and loved ones to do the same.
